Water bottles

My daughter Savanna is singing in the New Mexico All State Choir. We made water bottles for all the kids from the Moriarty school district that made the choir.

Wild Card

I've been playing around with my Wild Card Cricut cartridge. This is one of the cards I made... and lucky me it goes along with the blog hop theme. It's made with all Close To My Heart paper. If you have any questions let me know!

The Pink Stamper Blog Hop

I am a visual learner! That being said, I've been trying to become better at using my Cricut, but as I read the direction books that come with each cartage, I find myself going hmmmmmm. So I got online (because that's where we go now for help) to see if I could find some videos for the Cricut lover. That's where I stumped into The Pink Stampers Blog. She has 100's of videos giving step by step instruction on different aspects of the Cricut. I've learned so much, and am now getting braver at just pushing buttons on my Cricut to see what happens. I LOVE it.

Now on to the Blog Hop. The Pink Stamper started a 'blog hop challenge'. In a nut shell.... she gives a list of blogs (all paper crafting) that you have to visit and get the secret word. Then put all the words together to figure out the challenge. Make something meeting the criteria and then post it on her blog (causing the picture to link to your blog). So this is my first try at a Blog Hop. You should join in on the fun!

Tree Hugger

Today I made the cutest card with my Cricut Expressions. I use my new "Give A Hoot" cartridge, and some new paper and stamps from the up coming Close To My Heart catalog.
I used Sweet Leaf green cardstalk with background and texture paper from the Wings paper collection.... This paper comes with the Creative Basics (X5812) kit that also includes the cute ribbon in Juniper green color. (4 yards of it!)
I made a matching envelope with the same (two sided) background and texture paper.

The stamp set is called Backgrounds & Borders (D1463). As you can see below it has two background stamps and six border stamps. Today was my first time using the set, but I can tell it's going to be one of my new favorites.

Card

Yesterday I needed to send out a fast card, so I used some of my favorite paper, and stamp. I find if I need a fast card it's best to work with supplies I love.
It's a simple 6x6 card. The (Veranda) BG&T paper is cut to 3x3. On Colonial White C/S I stamped the bird from A Tweet (A1104 $7.95) in Grey Wool and "finger painted" with White Daisy ink. The branch is second generation stamped in Juniper ink. I added the Grey Flannel ribbon and a green sparkle eye (Z1327) and I was done. I made two of these cards in about 7 minutes.
One the inside I stamped a saying from the Everlasting Life set (D1440).

Lazy bloger

Yip.... I'm a lazy blogger!
Most of the crafting I've been doing is Studio J digital scrapbooking.
And playing with my Cricut. I've had it for years, but just never have time to play with it. I'm so amazed at all the things that cutter can do!
Below are some of my recent Studio J layouts. I've been so pleased with the quality of the prints. For Christmas I made scrapbooks (using only Studio J) for my Mother, Sister, and two of my nieces. I added lots of empty page protectors in the back so they can add more layouts in the future.
PS... you can click on the photos of the layouts to make them larger.
