Made these sweet Valentine's with Lauren for her co-workers.
They were simple and fast with the Close To My Heart Cricut Artiste cartridge
and a few heart stamps.
Filled with candy and tied them shut with ribbon.

Dollar Store Halloween Finds

I saw this ugly dollar store owl project on either Pinterest or a blog.
I wish I could remember because I'd love to give her credit on my blog.
Anyway, after I saw it somewhere I went to the Dollar Tree looking for black birds,
and there was the ugly owl!!! I had to buy two. One for me and one for my sister.
I also found a jackpot of black birds,
and some lovely pumpkins that I couldn't pass up.
After a good 6 coats of off white spray paint the ugly owls are now super classy!
Here are the classy owls with the pretty $1.00 pumpkins.
And with a few of the $1.00 black birds (which I bought 12 of).
Thank you mystery owl painter for the inspiration!
And thank you Dollar Tree for having ugly owls and black birds!

Boo Banner

It's time to decorate for fall!
I made this two sided banner last year and I still love it.
One side is Halloween, and the other side is Thanksgiving.
A big part of my tablescaping is the large antique mirror
that hangs behind my dinning room table.
This year I was going for an
Alfred Hitchcock, The Birds theme.

In this picture you can get a peek at the reverse side.

Moonlight Paper Boxes

I LOVE these little boxes. They are perfect for decorating... these have a Halloween theme.
Cut out with the Cricut Artiste cartridge.
Then assemble with a little glue. Super fast and easy.

I used the Magic Potions stamp set with Smokey Plum ink.
Added a little black ribbon, Cricut Artiste paper flowers and bling.

Cruisin' Card Set with Card Holder

I have a ton of this Cruisin' paper from Close To My Heart
that has been retired, but I still love it!
I wanted to try out some of my new stamp sets that coordinate with the new
Cricut Artiste cartridge. I used Kudos that comes with the cartridge and Perfect Fit Frames.

I cut the shapes out on the Cricut using white cardstalk,
then used Cranberry ink to stamp the images on the cut shapes.

The card holder is one of the 100's of 3D items on the Artiste cartridge.
